Pools & Saunas
THE STORY OF TERVISEKODA
The atmosphere of our pool and sauna centre draws inspiration from the gentle shapes of the bog landscape, unspoilt nature and Soomaa’s distinctive fifth season.
Gently curving pools, natural colours and open views of the surrounding landscape create a setting where life moves at a slower pace.
Tervisekoda received the 2019 Annual Award of the Estonian Association of Interior Architects and was nominated for the annual architecture award of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, in recognition of its thoughtful, nature-inspired architecture.

SAUNA: AN ESTONIAN TRADITION OF WELLNESS
Sauna is deeply rooted in Estonian culture. For generations, it has been a peaceful, respected place to care for both body and mind. A place to pause, cleanse and recharge, where time seems to slow down and life feels simpler.
At Tervisekoda, the unhurried rhythm of Estonian sauna culture meets the comforts of a modern spa. Our Finnish-style saunas, steam bath, salt steam room and sanarium offer different levels of heat for relaxation and well-being.
Each sauna has been carefully designed, balancing temperature, humidity and ventilation for a comfortable, restorative experience.
Sauna bathing is not something to rush. It is a ritual of warmth, calm and quiet, with time to rest and recharge.
A sauna is a moment just for you. A quiet luxury that needs no words.
- Please keep the atmosphere calm and quiet in the saunas.
- Exfoliating, essential oils and using sauna whisks are not permitted (except during special Tervisekoda events).
- Listen to your body and take regular breaks.
